Thanks for the feature, that was really sweet of you and I'm sorry I'm just now seeing it! I really wish it was a functional piece but it's AWFUL heavy for a real pin cushion and worth more than I'd ever be comfortable flinging around whilst I beat my sewing machine around :)

I thought I had the opened version on here too, I'll see if I can find the photo! It's kind of a push and twist lock- a little key-hole thing on the base with a peg on the inside of the lid that locks in when you twist. The photo will make it much clearer! Thanks so much for the compliment, I found it pretty funny too! :D
